The Bio Particle Explorer (BPE) quickly and reliably identifies single bacteria, germs, and micro-particles. It is able to determine and identify the viability of a single microorganism and ensures sterility in pharmaceuticals during sterile production and in aerospace technologies during assembly. The BPE, using unparalleled technology, can identify a microbial strain of micro-contamination from a single germ. Painstaking steps have been eliminated so that every user can quickly determine the entire bacteria count and the hazardous potential of such germs. The Bio Particle Explorer has overwhelming speed and accuracy in determining pathogenic bacterial contamination even in troublesome pathogenic germs.

Application |
Biological attacks microbial forensics and first responder counter-measures: food/water supply contamination detection - ultra fast and sensitive identification of pathogenic contaminants or biological weapons saves time for the right decisions |
Ensure space vehicle sterility - 100% sterility tests for cultivatable and uncultivatable germs |
Microbiological contamination detection in sterile production environments and quality control - trace the microbiological contaminant source within a manufacturing process (Rapid Microbial Method, RMM) |
Food & Beverage Industry/validation of health standards - quickly establish a connection between a food poisoning outbreak and a specific food source |
Infection detection/ such as Sepsis, SIRS, MRSA and others - fast targeted decisions for the right treatment of diseases |

Image analysis -> number, size and shape |
The Single Particle Explorer provides fast and reliable identification of particles and agglomerates for particles of 0.5 µm and larger:
Number, Size: Longest expansion in accordance with Feret
Shape: Elongation; angularity, circular equivalency, diameter, area
Particle resource/microbiological allocation: Raman-vibrational-spectroscopy with database allocation
raman.ID -> chemical structure |
raman.ID gives fingerprint spectra of the vibrations of all molecules. With the integrated unique spectra interpretation you can quickly and reliably identify organic and inorganic particle materials by their spectra without specialized knowledge.
