SPE-i CSS – Membrane Particle Counting The standard system for routine particle counting according to USP<788> for monitoring the foreign particle status of "subvisible foreign particulate matter". Prepared samples can be sent to the central laboratory or to rap.ID for identification. The SPE CSS can also be used to analyze white and gray standard nitrocellulose membranes 25mm and 47mm in diameter. The total analysis time for a 25mm standard membrane is just 2 minutes, which facilitates high throughput processing, requiring minimal human resources.
SPE-i metal.ID – Identification Metallic/non-metallic elements The integrated database search software of the SPE metal.ID determines chemical composition of particles from 20 µm. and larger at a rate of hundreds per hour, interprets particle spectra, and identifies metallic elements. This technology is best implemented in industrial applications such as hydraulics, surface, and plating industries.
SPE-i metal.ID + raman.ID: Identification of particle structure and elemental distribution. This model identifies the exact chemical composition and elemental distribution of particles at a throughput rate of 100-1000 per hour. The integrated database search software identifies particle count, shape, and size from 1 µm, interprets particle spectra, and recognizes metallic material. The equipment is designed to conduct parts cleanliness testing as well as foreign particle identification from 20 µm and larger in hydraulics, surface, and plating industries.
